Nurturing the habit of listening with curiosity and mutual understanding gives us precious input to improve the conversation and relationship. There are different kinds of listening styles which can be categorized into two broad segments. This are positive and negative listening where the positive listening benefits the listener, the speaker and also the whole society. Positive types of listening include sensitive listening, active listening, evaluative listening, relationship listening and also the appreciative listening. On the other hand, negative listening is faulty hence does not serve purpose of the speaker in the conversation.
